Desktop URL Shortcut Default Icon Choice?

Unread post by georgiapi » 2017-11-18, 20:25

Hello All! I just pulled my head out of the sand.Where has this browser been all my life?

When I installed PM to my default browser it changed desktop url shortcut icons as expected but to one I dislike. See below, I like the larger globe one with the transparent background.
I run large dual displays and have lots of these.

Question? Is there a setting I can set my default choice? And can I globally change them all? Thanks

Ummm, it always helps if you mention which OS you're using.

Anyway, in case you're using Windoows, I can recommend this program:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/file_types_manager.html

It does what I think you're trying to do and a lot of other useful things. I've been using it for years. It's free, well programmed, and has always done its job.

Hope this helps.

Sorry, Win10 Pro. I'll look it over thanks!

I was hoping there is a config option we could enable.
