I was testing some things and copied my profile to a portable version and then back to the desktop version. I knew that some features were disabled for the portable version but i didnt expect any lasting effects, ah well.
browser.cache.disk.parent_directory
&
browser.download.lastDir
appear to both be locked to my portable version's install directory, changing the values simply causes them to revert upon browser restart. Any way to solve this?
Are there any other lasting issues with copying the profile from install>portable>install?

Never mind, it's the user.js that gets written to your portable profile.
Typical to spend an hour trying and then figure it out shortly after posting.
EDIT: Only the user.js is inside the profile folder.
