hi all.
On my s/o's computer, pale moon is not saving my passwords. I am the only one who
uses this browser, on his computer.
The addons I have installed are:
addblock 2.1.2
donottrackplus 2.2.1.829
facebook disconnect 2.1.3
google disconnect 2.4.2
Noia 4 theme manager 1.7.5
It is not the default browser - that is Internet Explorer.
Pale moon saves passwords fine on my own computer.
What could be the problem?
Passwords not saving

Re: Passwords not saving
Also, I did check to see that I checked the box
for "remember passwords for sites,: under
Tools / Options / Security.
It was checked. So it should be
remembering passwords, but it isn't.
Any thoughts?

Re: Passwords not saving
You might want to check in Options -> Privacy, if it is set to clear history (custom settings), that you have the "saved passwords" box in the "data" group not checked.
You may also find some hints in the Mozillazine KB:

Welcome to the forum
So you write it itself. Pale Moon don't have a problem with saving passwords
Your profile is corrupted or your addons block somethink. Try a clean profile
PS: Next time don't make a doublepost. Use the edit button

Re: Passwords not saving
@moonchild: thank you, under tools / options / history,
I switched it to: remember history, and it worked.
I didn't see any data group, but it is saving them now.
@dark_moon: I didn't make a double post, the second
post had new information.
I am loving this browser!
Thanks,
Tyler

Re: Passwords not saving
New information should be an EDIT of the previous post where possible.
Doublepost is the same as a second post with the same irritation of a second email notification for those registered for notifications.

Re: Passwords not saving
This is the window Moonchild is referring to - the smaller window on the left of my screenshot is obtained by having the "Clear History when Pale Moon closes" checked and then clicking the "Settings" button to the right of it.tylerzambori wrote: I didn't see any data group, but it is saving them now.
