Twitbin not compatible?

I currently use Echofon as my Twitter app but as they have discontinued Echofon for Windows and Firefox I installed Twitbin. It is showing on my list of addons, but
there is no desktop icon or any way of starting it. Is it not compatible with Pale Moon? I have Pale Moon 15.2.

If it is showing up in your add-ons list without any errors or warnings, then it should be compatible with Pale Moon. I'm not familiar with Twitbin, but if it's an add-on for the browser, I'd expect it to be a feature integrated into the browser, not an icon on your desktop... ? Maybe the Twitbin website provides some help on how to actually use it.

No there are no errors. It's a sidebar like Echofon which puts an icon on the desktop. I will try to contact Twitbin, looks like it has to be a email.
Thanks for the reply.

Hmm. I was on the getting started page with install instructions. I've now found another page that says Fully compatible with Firefox 4+
so I guess that rules out Pale Moon. Sorry, I should have looked more.

Fully compatible with Firefox 4+ means it's most likely fully compatible with Pale Moon 4+

Pale Moon is not a mainstream browser, so unlikely to be mentioned by (or known to) many add-on developers.

OK. I thought PM was Firefox 3. So it should work with Pale Moon 15.2. I have emailed them now, so will hopefully get a reply.
Thanks again.

The Legacy version of Pale Moon is based on Firefox 3.x, but not the current generation version.

Thanks. I'll tell them that if they ever get back to me.

Just in case anyone else has this problem, what you have to do is right click the toolbar>customize and the icon will be in the drop down box.
They do say it should be on the status bar, but it isn't always.
