Is there any cooperation in scheduling FF and PM security update releases ? ( if applicable to PM )

Or is there a delay between FF and PM security releases ?
( e.g. time needed to review and implement the changed code ) ?

I ask in context of possible security concerns, where
FF has already patched version, but PM *MAY* does not have it yet.....

Security issues are being kept track of, and all relevant security patches are implemented on the schedule that is applicable to the severity of the issues (e.g. the png library issue was patched immediately, theoretical vulnerabilities are not rushed out in point releases)
