Profile Backup

Hi.

I have my Palemoon extensively tweaked/customized and I usually backup the profile to use on fresh installs, either browser or OS.
My doubt is, for how long can I go with a profile across versions; will, for ex. a profile created with the current v.27 be valid with, say, v.33 ?

Profiles can be upgraded over time as development progresses.. The problem is if you use an upgraded profile on OLDER versions.
