Paste and Go (search) Hotkey

Unread post by batman » 2017-04-22, 08:13

What is the Paste and Go or the Paste and Search keyboard shortcut / hotkey?

If you select location bar, and right click you'll see the option, but I do not know hotkey.

p.s. - CTRL + SHIFT + L in the Edge browser will take whatever I copied in clipboard, target the address bar and search.

There are no shortcut/access keys for those options AFAIK. Mostly because it requires the address bar to have focus first so you can't easily make it a global key.

You could try this add-on: Paste and Go 3 Again.
This simple Firefox extension provides a configurable keyboard shortcut which will instantly paste and go (open or search) whatever is in the clipboard. It is a great time saver.
I can't vouch for this add-on as I don't use it myself, but it appears to do what you want. ;)
