Change URL window clicking action?

When clicking in the URL window, the whole URL is selected. I'm not saying that's wrong so need to defend it, but is there a way I can change that action to put the cursor wherever in the URL I click, instead of selecting the URL? I just personally need it to do that.
FYI, K-Meleon works this way (cursor where click).

First click highlights. Second click places cursor where you want it. It works that way for me. PM 27.0.3 (x64), Windows 10.

In about:config, try changing: browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll to false.
Worked just now for me.

I was looking on a different install I have of PM, and browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll isn't there. Can I just add it?

It's there for me in PM 27.2 (Win 7 x86), and I think this pref has existed for a long time. What version of PM is this? And don't know if it matters, but what OS?

The other install, where I did have the setting, is Win7.
