Remembering a login/https url cookie

Post by paulri » 2016-12-04, 17:49

I have PM set to delete cookies upon exit. I do want to have PM keep one cookie from a news site that has a signin. I have entered the url in the Exception list, but instead of https://www.blahblahblah, only the www.blahblahblah is entered (I don't know if this is significant or not). Is there a way to get PM to remember an HTTPS login on a cookie?

Take a look at the Cookie Exterminator addon and set the site on whitelist.

Thanks. That appears to be the solution.

For anyone looking for a cookie solution, here is the URL: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... erminator/

Here is the URL for the PM forum thread for this addon: viewtopic.php?f=50&t=13589

I had to actually go into the Cookie Extermintor options and click to enable the Active mode, but after that, all cookies but the one on my whitelist have been removed.

Thanks. PM is becoming more and more comfortable for me to use.
