Feel free to test it. here's a packaged version.

Re: 27.0.1 & AB latitude
Seems to work just as fine as previous versions.
Re: 27.0.1 & AB latitude
Seems, all works properly, except "Show button".
"Show button" doesn't work at all.
ABL button was added from "Customize".

Did just that, just now (2 seconds for PM to load). So far seems to work real good, pages seem to load faster and I see the same amount of adds as with ABL: None.Skaendo wrote:Switch to uBlock Origin. I did, problem solved.
Thanks for the hint.
Re: 27.0.1 & AB latitude
ABL has been updated to 4.0.0 now for all users. Please check for updates in your add-on manager.

Re: 27.0.1 & AB latitude
I am using 26.5 and I have ABL 3.0.3.1. I just went to the add-ons manager and to the ABL extension. I clicked on check for updates and was informed there were none.
Should I just go to the P M add-ons page for ABL and download it? Will that replace the current version I have? I do not have AdBlock Edge as far as I know unless it came with ABL. Am I supposed to do anything more that DL it in my case?
@Moonchild May I suggest you edit you post above as follows: Change "ABL has been updated to 4.0.0 now for all users." to "ABL has been updated to 4.0.0 now for all users of version 25 and higher." Since the title of this thread is 27.0.1, it is easy to assume it only applies to those who have upgraded to version 27.x. I accidentally stumbled onto that info when the add-ons updater claimed there were no updates so I went to the the ABL DL page.

Re: 27.0.1 & AB latitude
@moonchild Thanks for updating ABL to version 4.0.0. PM now opens much faster than with version 3.5.
Re: 27.0.1 & AB latitude
Finding on Linux that PM 27 open almost instantly PLUS the CPU issue (Flash + 2 open browsers = 50% of CPU constantly being used) is gone with PM sitting around 1-3% of CPU at idle.
Excellent update!

Re: 27.0.1 & AB latitude
I have two question:
1) What is changed in v4 in comparison to v3.5?
2) Does the PM team consider ABL a convenience or a security addon?
P.S. For those of you that don't know the move in v3.5 was done because if the filters are loaded after the browser starts there is data leakage and ADS are loaded for all pages loaded before the filters are loaded.
