Hello everybody:

This is the tutorial for help Joe User for install back Google Search to the search bar in Pale Moon 26.4.0 - I won't debate why the change or the impact of this in your everyday life, ok? So, you just are 6 clicks away to get things done and for good, are you ready?

You update to Pale Moon 26.4.0 and you see that Google Search is gone but now only DuckDuckGo, Bing and Yahoo! are installed, the horror!
Don't get in panic. Let's count to 6 and you are done.

1. Click the left menu on the search bar and look for Manage serach engines (count click is 2 now)
2. A window will show you the current search engines installed please use your click #3 on Get more search engines
3. You will see the page of the search engines of Pale Moon. The click #4 is for select Google:
4 & 5. A window will ask you if you want to add Google to your search engines, but don't go too speedy! Use the click #5 in Make this the current search engine and the #6 in the ADD button.
YUppiee! Google is back and since this is an extension that you installed in your user profile it won't go again in new updates.
Ouch! These 6 clicks had made be too tired... I need a coffee now...

Step #2 gives me a different window, but I was able to find "Get More Search Engines..." under the file menu in that window.

However, when I get to the page shown in step #4, clicking the links does nothing for me. Went to the page source, and I see that there's a window.external.AddSearchProvider('https://addons.palemoon.org/phoebus/ser ... php?id=100') that's supposed to happen OnClick, and apparently for some reason isn't. And this is where I get stuck.

I already explained this in a howto post :/
I even linked to it from the release notes.

No probs here putting google back using Moonchilds/Lobocursor way. Easy and took about 5 secs if that.

This is the Spanish topic of the subject translated to English, I just though it would be useful for average Joes. As several people did complain in FB like this was an impossible task. I still have pending the android one, so if you have one already I will keep mine on Spanish only.
