IMDB is one of the sites I relegated to "r3dfox" simply because the pages would never stop loading.
This meant I couldn't really navigate the site since links wouldn't work.
@adoxa, your script fixed the loading problem so I can once again browse IMDB in PM.
Thanks for this.

Adoxa, I installed JustOff's extension, added your script to the Filters box and checked the Enable box. I restarted PM. I still can't navigate IMDb successfully. Is it because I'm on Win7?

Wouldn't think so, but then, IMDb mostly works fine for me without the filter. The filter fixes the TypeError: i.unpackData is not a function error - if you're still seeing that then the filter is not working; otherwise, what errors are you seeing?

I use IMDb's "Reference View". When the page loads, the column to the right of the page titled "All Topics", which includes links to the user reviews and release dates doesn't show. I just get three moving dots as if it's still loading. Also, the thumbnail of the movie shown on the left has a continuing spinning circle where the link to my watchlist is supposed to be. If you bring up an actor to check his/her movie listings, the link at the end of the list to expand it further, doesn't work. Clicking on the actor's bio at the top should take you to the full bio. It just doesn't respond. These are a few things that have gone awry. The site in PM is basically non functional. I would say it's about 50/50. Right now, I've been using Firefox. I can continue, but I prefer to use PM as much as I can. Other viewers mentioned that using the JustOff extension with your script worked for them. I just thought I'd try it out. After the install, I see no difference in IMDb's behavior.

It does sound like the filter hasn't been applied, or there's another similar error - press Ctrl+Shift+K to view the console, then copy & paste it here. (I won't be creating an account, so perhaps I won't be of much further help.)

I won't be able to get to it until later this week. I'll post back when I have some time to mess with it. Thanks for your patience.

"Reference View" is that the "Front page"? (
https://www.imdb.com/) It also doesn't completely load for me either.
However, I never use the front page, only the pages I search for in my IMDB search engine,
and thanks to the script , they fully load again

If you have an IMDb account, you can select reference view as your default for viewing movie pages. If you want to see how it looks, just add /reference/ to the page's URL
Example:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt26690921/reference/

Sorry, LR but that link fully loads for me. I do need to say, I am automatically logged into many, many, websites, including IMDB so when I click a link. Meaning that I'M automatically logged in to IMDB. as well as Pale Moon forums and many, many, many, others. I use "CookieKeeper 1.9.3.1" to protect all login cookies and all of CloudFlare cookies. For all websites I visit. Try it out and automatically get logged into UR websites.
Been using it since FF 24.0 and ever since I've used PM.

I have no trouble logging in. My problems are with different aspects of the IMDb site. Some things don't load and some links are inactive.

Even though it appears MHR is active, that suggests the filter is not being applied. I don't see that error and so the dots do get replaced with the links (64-bit Basilisk, Win10; PM also worked; I'm not willing to test in 7).

Thank you for looking at this. It may be a Win7 thing. I'll continue to use Firefox. I have an extension (Open with Edge) which let's me open FX with the click of a button. Easy peasy.

Are those engines embedded into the extension or do they use versions of Chrome or Edge on my computer? I don't have Chrome or Edge (Win7).

I do not know for sure, but the extension’s size (100 MB, greater than any other extension I know) suggests that it carries the engine itself. Unless you live with restricted bandwidth, trying cannot hurt, can it?

Well, I tried it out. v1.0.4 has some glithes on IMDb. I get a full display now. But a few links still do not work. You can't use the back button. If you try to go back, it sends you to a non-subwebview page. This make navigating tedious.
I then installed v1.0.5-cef109 from his github page. This one works a lot better than the one from PM. Although, the back button glitch is still there. The links that did not work are working in this version. UBO doesn't work on a subwebview page. So, I get all of the extra garbage. It cranks the profile folder up to around 750MB from 182MB. All-in-all, I think just using Open with Edge is the better alternative. It just opens Firefox and I can view IMDb from there. UBO works, back and forward buttons are no problem and my profile folder stays smaller. Sort of a good concept, but for me, it's not worth the drawbacks.
