Breakpoint reached error

Unread post by Theresnothinghere » 2025-05-12, 23:11

Operating system: Windows 8.1
Browser version: 33.7.1
32-bit or 64-bit browser?: x64 (official standard AVX build)
Problem URL: ftp://example.com/something.jpg
Browser theme (if not default): Startum
Installed add-ons: ematrix, pdfjs, glassmyfox
Installed plugins: (about:plugins): none

I got this error randomly after some time when the browser wan minimized to the taskbar, the only thing that was open was a jpeg image on an ftp server (a very obscure situation):
pmerror.PNG
Looks like there is a breakpoint somewhere, but I cannot reproduce it the second time with the same config and .jpg.
I'm posting this at all only because I hope this is easily traceable, but I wouldn't consider this error important if it turns out to be hard to find.

Code: Select all

 palemoon.exe
   6.7.0.9251
   68122344
   xul.dll
   6.7.0.9251
   6812247d
   80000003
   0000000001b1d1b4
   1038
   01dbc38e9bfb6ecc
   C:\Program Files\Pale Moon\palemoon.exe
   C:\Program Files\Pale Moon\xul.dll
   021ee6cc-2f82-11f0-85ab-005056c00008
Maybe some leftover breakpoints from a Mozilla developer of the ftp implementation or some Cutting-edge PM code not turned off for release idk

A breakpoint like that often means out-of-memory, but without a detailed appcrash report we can't really tell.
Please use appcrashview to generate a detailed report of the application crash and post it here.
