Sorry, I can't do that for you. Go to Advanced search, enable "Topic titles only" and search for youtube. That would be a good start but like I already said: don't expect miracles.

Vorapis doesn't seem to load videos.

Works fine here. I'm guessing one (or more) of your extensions is interfering. You probably need to clean that profile up. Better yet, create a new one from scratch without unnecessary extensions and core setting changes.

Not really. That just sends you back here and uses the default forum search (no "Topic titles only"). The point of suzyne's method is to use DDG's own search.

VORAPIS is quite good. I'm missing two features though:

a) Auto-resolution selection
b) Auto-expansion of the video description

There are working userscripts for both of these, but they don't seem to work alongside VORAPIS which kind of takes over the handling of YouTube.

It seems to work fine for me with no lag, ig I no longer need vorapis.

I use DuckDuckGoLite as my main search engine https://lite.duckduckgo.com/lite (because no JS) and afaik bangs doesn't work on lite version.
