Please provide details about the home system and the server. Hardware? Operating system? etc.

Are you sitting in from of the monitor of the server or do you connect via network?

Which protocols?
Compression used?
How is the bandwidth and the latency?

Re: I can't run it on the server
If you're using RDP, you may want to disable hardware acceleration in Pale Moon that's running on the server.
Also, to reduce remote redraw issues, make sure you disable "smooth scrolling" in preferences -> advanced -> scrolling.
You may also want to check if your RDP connection settings are appropriate for your bandwidth.

no, I mean that the browser itself starts to slow down when working with YouTube on the server, although it works stably on the home computerMoonchild wrote: ↑2024-06-11, 21:12If you're using RDP, you may want to disable hardware acceleration in Pale Moon that's running on the server.

Re: I can't run it on the server
What exactly are you doing with YouTube on the server? Video over RDP is going to be a disaster no matter what.
