Memory issues since 3 pm releases back or so..

win8 - always latest pm x64.

I had a very big history sql file, so i believed it's what made the new pm build to rush absurd gb's.
so i stupidly deleted it cause i couldn't imagine pm being able to manage such big data files..

Pm is still freezing on me quicker than usual, at restart, even without days of use..

Not sure why did you blame your history file or palemoon if errors points to the GreaseMonkey scripts you'r using. Did you try to run it without this scripts and/or without GM itself?
Also, do you use "GreaseMonkey For Palemoon" fork instead of a default GM? This one: https://github.com/janekptacijarabaci/g ... y/releases

uBlock can also cause freezes and memory issues if you use other versions than this one:

Or in case you have a ton of lists enabled in the config. Disable the ones you don't need, its an overkill to use all lists available, especially with cosmetics filters on.

That's not why you're here, is it? Aren't you here to solve the issue you're having with your use?

General observations of memory use being larger since WebComponents was enabled by default are entirely expected, by the way, because that is literally what WebComponents and the use of Shadow DOM in paritcular does. It greatly complicates document structures from a single parseable document to a complex data structure with multiple roots and object/node trees with complex rules for interaction. That takes (a lot of) resources.

If you are experiencing runaway memory use, posting a memory report (from about:memory) when you are experiencing this use would help to provide insight.

i'm not a tech, all i did was updating palemoon's builds, those memory issues weren't
as "violent" & directly obtained at the browser startup using the third or fourth build before..
3 to 4 builds before, my palemoon used to slow down after 3 to 5 days of use..

& besides 3 of my scripts involved in issues now, all the other errors aren't referencing my scripts.

one thing is certain, u allowed a function that brings all these issues even incriminating an addon or two,
ur gonna tell me i chose to use classic addons at my own risk etc etc, but by that special update,
it turned my palemoon into a bomb at startup.

& naturally "my use.." i can already see reports about crashes from other users.. after my initial
report about these strange issues that didnt have such a big impact on previous builds. if this isn't fixed
& again, i'm not a coder. i'll let u assume it needs to stay that way & sadly revert to an old build & never update.

if it has to be the end of palemoon because u tolerated classic addons many time & u mixed a lot of codes along with
firefoxs codes, & think that error that increases issues drastically should stay like that 'my use.."

ill downgrade & disable updragdes for good, ur recent 2 months bulld updates are too invasive & interfers with issues
that were still acceptable. it's like pushing us to move to firefox & rebuild everything.

as i can see ur not again, ready to do something about it 'my use.." k.. nor want to review what ccreated this issue,

I don't really have the time to give a full run-down here of our recent developments, maybe if someone else feels inclined...

In a nutshell, we've had to add a ton of complexity to the browser core to handle what Google has been pushing out to the web, to be compatible with "modern" websites. That comes at a considerable cost.

You can help us understand what you run into by opening a new tab at about:memory next time you run into excessive memory use, and use the button "measure and save" on that page, then upload the resulting file to this thread.

I see even new issues appearing in error console & a last error was repeated more times than the rest but stopped as if errors previously
appearing weren't endlessly reported anymore, the last one:

Note: I feel an improvement on gmail. now gmail opens at restart instead of crashing during the process when i'm not focused on it.
