WASM, was enabled, by default, in PM28. Why?
Added controls for WASM to the browser's preferences, and enabled by default.

Yet not too long ago, back in June, you were still saying:
WebAssembly is disabled by default in Pale Moon for some very good security reasons.
It's not that it's not supported, it's that it must be explicitly enabled.
What changed between then & now?
What does one gain by having WASM enabled?
Have there been other security related enhancements that counter some of the (at the time) deficits of having WASM enabled?

It seems to be for web compat reasons.

See Issue #1814.

Let me just reiterate that we were NOT happy about having to switch this on by default but at this point it just needed to be. We did ensure all known flaws have been addressed AND added a GUI control for the preference before doing so.

Doesn't suit you? Flip it off, but we couldn't any longer justify it being off by default.
