Silverlight Crash in Windows 10 (Win compatibiity?)

Unread post by BillZM » 2019-09-06, 04:33

Not a Pale Moon issue, perhaps, but maybe Windows compatibility. (Wasn't sure where best to post this.)

With Pale Moon 32-bit versions up through 28.6.1 running in Windows 10 up through 1809, as I start and stop Netflix playback with up-to-date Silverlight, Silverlight will crash every 1 to 2 hours. Annoying though not catastrophic.

I decided to run the Windows compatibility troubleshooter on the Silverlight configuration software (accessible through the Start Menu). It recommends Windows 8 compatibility. Accepting that, it's been running flawlessly now for 5-6 hours.

Thoughts?

It doesn't belong in the Bug Reports section for Pale Moon.
