Reading the comments in https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/mar/06/real-madrid-nothing-left-to-play-for-champions-league-ajax , PM crashed. Restarted, load page, crash after ~1 minute. Happened three times. This was the only page open. Windows 7 Professional x64.

I don't know if it's related, but yesterday I got a "Breakpoint" message when PM crashed. That was the the first Breakpoint error message I ever remember seeing. This was 28.4 64bit portable. Sorry no details captured that I know of.

EDIT: I loaded up that page in a fresh build and it looks like the site is continuously loading new ads from RTB ad providers. If you are blocking things but not blocking everything, then it's very possible you are creating massive memory leaks in that page as a result which will make the browser run out of memory and crash (OOM situations will result in a manual breakpoint from a deliberate (safe) crash).
No crash was observed here (no extensions), no matter how long I left the page up.

I strongly suggest you reset your preferences to Pale Moon defaults.
Since you have Pale Moon Commander installed, the simplest way is Preferences -> Advanced Preferences -> Other -> tab "Reset" -> Reset all preferences

I do not want to go quite that far! But I did change all of the garbage collection javascript.options back to their defaults. I changed these options about one month ago.

I believe this problem can be closed.
