Windows 10 64-bit.
Right click on a link or ctrl-click. New tab opens. Address bar is filled with URL. favicon is set to Palemoon default. But navigation does not occur. I need to switch to tab and manually click the address bar and press enter.
Can't figure out exact repro scenario yet. Just now I got both results over the span of a few minutes.

A meddling extension?
Try to test with a new clean profile and see if your issue persists.
You can also test with a clean install of the portable version. Your existing install won't be touched and you can simply delete the folder with your portable install after testing.
