I don't know if this is a new issue, or an old one. I just tried to watch a 360º video on Youtube, and it doesn't work on Palemoon - at first it shows the video 'stretched', not even showing the controls to 'pan around'.

I then tried this user agent string from Opera, and it worked for a couple of seconds... then I couldn't do anything not even pausing / resuming the video worked anymore. After tabbing out and back in, I was able to close the tab, and that was it.

I also tried the UAS from the latest firefox, the video rendered correctly, but no controls on screen.

Is this a known issue? I tried searching before posting, but nothing related showed up.

This video works just fine for me using PM28.1.0@Win7.

Here it shows like this - which is wrong: It should look like this: (this is how Opera / Firefox shows it) Note that the controller on the top left doesn't even appear in the first image.

Weird. For me even in safe mode it shows the problem:

I think I found the problem: I had "plugins.rewrite_youtube_embeds;true" in my config. Set it to false, now video is working as it should.

For me YT360 videos works regardless of the "plugins.rewrite_youtube_embeds" state (default is true).
