Pale moon v 28 and 20.0.0.1 will not run on windows 7 32 bit svc pack 1

I have tried installing both the V28 and V28.0.0.1 on Windows 7 32 bit svc pack 1; It installs, but immediately crashes and will not open.

I have tried removing all addons in the running 27.9.4 then installing and it still does not work. I cannot even open the profile manager using the -P to create a new profile, it still crashes.

I will update if I figure anything else out about the issue. Sorry I do not have more information- will post if I can get more.

Probably related to this issue, which they are currently working on fixing:

I ran into the same problem with 28.x.x on my Windows 7 which is 32bit as well. After I installed it Palemoon with crash the instant I tried to open it. Use Revo Uninstaller and do an advanced removal to remove EVERYTHING that has to do with palemoon browser. After you do that you can install v27.9.4 with no problems. I had to do just that to restore my laptop. Yes it's inconvenient but the guys working on v28 should get it resolved soon.

I suggest you download the Pale Moon Profile Backup Tool when you get v27.9.4 working and set up the way you like and make a backup before you install a new version again ... just in case. It will backup your plugins, bookmarks, settings and everything else you tweaked so you can do a 60 second restore if things go south again. It saved me a lot of grief.
