[28] PM and Firefox cannot work together
I give up. If in background Firefox is running, PM simply crash during startup. Proof in link (too big as attachment ).
Sorry guys, but new version is disaster. I appreciate Yours hard work (really!), but this is bugfest.

Re: [28] PM and Firefox cannot work together
PM should have no affect on FF & vice-versa (theoretically).
Is Fast Dial a Plugin, an extension (part of each)?
And if you disable that?

Re: [28] PM and Firefox cannot work together
Maybe Firefox just eats all the resources and Pale Moon can't survive
I'm kidding, don't take it seriously in any way.
Does the crash happen if Pale Moon is in safe mode?

Re: [28] PM and Firefox cannot work together
I do not try, and I do not want. I dont use some exotic extension - only common, good know like uBlock, Fast Dial, AutoSort etc. This is the same config from PM 27.x, which works since years. Cannot be, that software is incompatible on that way.vannilla wrote:Does the crash happen if Pale Moon is in safe mode?

Fast dial
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... fast-dial/
I don't have any problem with FF running in background

Re: [28] PM and Firefox cannot work together
Versions 28 and 27 are pretty different.
A profile working on 27 can still have issues when running on 28.
Even if you don't use anything fancy, an extension that is not 100% compatible with the new version (for whatever reason), can still cause sporadic issues.
If you don't want to deal with it, it's ok, but just know that things are like this.

@ p0k3m0n
I can run "both" 32 bit windows Pale Moon 28.0.0 and 32 bit windows Firefox 61.0.2 "at the same time" in 64 bit Window 7 (Home Premium SP1, Ultimate SP1) without any problems when both are open and being used at the same time. The problem is on your end someplace.

Re: [28] PM and Firefox cannot work together
Why?I do not try, and I do not want.
Does PM only crash if you also open FF?
Is Fast Dial integral into the crash?
