Addons Manager (about:addons) comes up Blank - Sometimes

Don't know if it is extension related
But it can also occur when starting PM in Safe Mode

In my case, I use Session Restore, & as it is, about:addons is one of the tabs restored.

Have not looked, tested to see if any "new instance" of Addons Manager always opens as expected (i.e. with no existing Addons Manager window opened already).

Looks like it's not only about:addons, about:config too.

Page Info says it is about:blank.
Page Source says it is config.xul.


Likewise with about:addons.

Page Info says it is about:blank.

When first installed v28 it took about:addons about 15 - 18 seconds to fully load. Now it's down to about 2 seconds. If I restart with the addons tab open it can take 30 seconds or more to load. I have been hitting the reload button to speed that up.
About:config has so far loaded instantly although I can't really say I like the new look. One problem I have is that there is no bottom scroll bar so I have to resize the cells to see the extended text past the right verticle scroll bar.
Oh yeah, I have "Config Comments 1.0" installed which adds comments to the text.

Failed to mention I have a very large page to load as seen below:

In my case, the page never loads.
A "reload", will only attempt to load about:blank, which accomplishes nothing.
I have to go to the URLbar (about:addons | about:config, do display) & hit return.

I can't reproduce what you're experiencing with the Addons Manager or "about:config" in either linux or windows Pale Moon (28.0.0). Everything works like it did in 27.9.4 concerning these two items.

Profile, zipped up (7-zip) to test with.

Should open to a Youtube video.
One of the leftmost tabs is about:addons, fails to load correctly.
Further to the right, are two separate about:config tabs which do open, currently.

Unzip the .7z to some temporary location (/tmp/pmabout/).
Open PM pointing to that location (palemoon -profile /tmp/pmabout/). It should restore the session automatically.


(I removed the 2 extensions I had put in there, & that is the state of the Profile, with the bug, on my end.)
