v28 - It's Crashtastic
Had this update pushed out the other day - it's horrid. Leave three tabs open - it crashes; visit a video intensive site like Google Maps - it crashes; move between tabs too quickly - it crashes; look at it wrong - it crashes. So bad that I resurrected Firefox to get my work done - my God that's gotten to be a hog. Hope the team @Pale Moon can sort out the stability issues. BTW, I'm on a machine running Win7 on an Intel i5 with 4 gigs of RAM and a nvidia GeForce GTX 750 TI. Pale Moon has always run okay on this machine before. Not even usable at this point.

You might want to give us some details, I'm almost at 10 days uptime, currently 417 tabs open.

Have to say that I keep being impressed by new members (even 0-day) and their sensational titles with zero helpful details within the post except for: horrid, crashes, "so bad" etc. Not sure if I had to mark this as off-topic.

No issue here with my Windows 7 ultimate with SP1 installed. No crashes, no slow-downs.
You could theoretically try to update your drivers of your system.. graphic card and so on. Perhaps that makes a difference?

Please provide further details - clearly nobody else can reproduce the issue so it's up to the original reporter to include as much details as possible to narrow down their problem.

Dear Palemoon fellow users,
This guy is not wrong...
Same issue here, video on youtube sometimes plays fine then after few minutes stops responding and whole browser crashes + whole system.
Reboot .
My system:
windows 7
intel bay trail 2810 processor with intergrated graphics. Was playing youtube ok before update .
4 gb ram
There's definitely something wrong with this update....
Like to revert any ideas how ?
Thanks , Like the Palemoon browser, been using it for years

That's a direct link from the Pale Moon US server, or you could use filehorse.

What the heck, that sounds like when hardware is ill! (and that usually happens on desktops, when you overclock too much) (too high of CPU core, GPU core or RAM frequency) Unless it's a buggy driver. Thus it can't directly be Pale Moon's fault.

Re: v28 - It's Crashtastic
On all of my 4 computers (2 desktop towers, 2 laptops and they are all different models) with their 4 corresponding hard drives using windows 32 bit Pale Moon 28.0.0 running in 64 bit Windows 7 (Home Premium SP1, Ultimate SP1), I haven't had any problems with Google Maps, YouTube, etc.
On these 4 computers; I have no crashes, no slowdowns, no freezes, no hangs, no scrolling problems. As for tabs, I can't really speak for that since the most tabs I have open at one time is usually 4 tabs and I have no problem moving between tabs.
All of my computers, the oldest is a 2010 year model desktop tower and the newest computer is a 2013 year model desktop tower. They're old, but they are not short on "horsepower" when it comes to memory (8 GB-24 GB) and processor speeds (2.50 GHz-3.40 GHz) from Intel i5 and i7 chips.

Re: v28 - It's Crashtastic
I have had issues with YouTube crashing, but that was with v27.9 on Linux. No crashes on Windows yet with v28.

Re: v28 - It's Crashtastic
Ok thanks for the response.
Its strange because just before the update no problems with video playback and just after huge problems so...?
No overclocking here etc. Only thing i can think of that i have something installed the max my framrate to 30fps because this
intel 2810 with intergrated grafhics can't handle hd video otherwise..
but, maybe i have to clean install the new update.. I'll try that and report back.
sincerely,, tom v boxel

Re: v28 - It's Crashtastic
If your entire system crashes or freezes it is by definition outside of the realm of Pale Moon. The fact that the browser may trigger it doesn't mean that it is at fault, merely that it exposes the problem (whether that be hardware, drivers or system software).
