3D Hubs does not properly load models on PM

Unread post by fr0zensphere » 2018-03-17, 18:28

Not too long ago I started using 3D Hubs for making 3d printed parts for my research work. The way it works is you upload your print models into the website and then you can select a service provider (hub) to do the job. Before this step, the website renders the model you uploaded and allows you to interact with it, by rotating it, zooming in/out, and measuring dimensions, so you can double check it before proceeding. However, in PM this does not work. It always says that "There was an error loading the model". This happens on both my Windows 7-based PC and my Win 10-based PC. I also tried all 3 different compatibility modes, and it's the same result. My PM version is 27.8.1. It works perfectly fine in FF, however -- that's how I know what it's supposed to do when it works properly.

Unfortunately I can't find a model example page on 3D Hubs without logging in. On another site with scanned objects in 3D zooming and rotating worked for me in Pale Moon 27.8.1, but I don't know which format these models were...
