Videos not working
http://6abc.com/live/ it will not play. I had the same problem even with the portable version.
Windows 10
Pale Moon Version: 27.8.1 (64-bit)
I notice when I go to "some" sites that stream live videos like Windows 10
Pale Moon Version: 27.8.1 (64-bit)

Re: Videos not working
I clicked on the 6abc link and the live video started playing for me without any problems.
On this hard drive, I'm using 32 bit windows Pale Moon 27.8.1 running in 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate, SP1.

Can't play video since update
I just updated PM and now its not playing videos on youtube. It freezes and the circle comes up as if it is loading.
I had been having trouble with the old version of losing functionality on video watching and search pages.
I tried to re-install and use it again but this error is still there...

I clicked on your Sizzling link and the Sizzling game played for me.szalonygracz wrote:I have the same problem with slot machines, only on another site.AndrePolo wrote:Tell me what to do. Then I clicked on your second link and the the games of Fruit Zen, Enchanted played for me. The Disco Spin game didn't play because on this game I got a "Game Not Available" prompt. On the Chase the Cheese game, the prompt I received was "network error".
I'm using 64 bit linux Pale Moon 28.0.1 running in 64 bit linux Mint 19 (Tara) Xfce distro. The only two addons I have enabled are NoSquint and Adblock Latitude. And the graphics driver I'm using is an open source linux graphics driver, Nouveau. I've also got 16 GB of memory on this 2010 year model desktop tower computer. And the user agent for this site is the default one which comes with Pale Moon 28.1.0 so the site sees my user agent as:
Code: Select all
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:52.9) Gecko/20100101 Goanna/4.1 Firefox/52.9 PaleMoon/28.1.0

Re: Videos not working
I can play YouTube videos whether I'm using 64 bit linux Pale Moon 28.1.0 running in 64 bit linux Mint 19 (Tara) Xfce distro or using 32 bit windows Pale Moon 28.0.1 running in 64 bit Windows 7 (Home Premium SP1 or Ultimate SP1).Jennifer485 wrote:Can't play video since update

On the Windows 7 hard drive, it is using an old Nvidia GeForce 220 graphics card with the 340 graphics driver which is the last graphics driver which will install and work in this machine. This machine has 16 GB of memory. The only two addons I use are NoSquint and Adblock Latitude.
On the Linux Mint hard drive, it is using the open source linux Nouveau graphics driver. With 16 GB of memory and also, the same NoSquint and Adblock Latitude addons.
But I don't use the default user agent for YouTube which comes with Pale Moon (28.1.0). I'm guessing you're using the default user agent for YouTube. Since YouTube went to a new interface which has a dark theme available, I had to change my user agent for YouTube to get access to the dark theme so when I'm using windows Pale Moon, YouTube sees my user agent as:
Code: Select all
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0 (Pale Moon)
Code: Select all
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0 (Pale Moon)
If you do not know what your default user agent is, just click on the link below and it will tell you what your browser user agent is.

Now, have you tried running your version of Pale Moon in Safe Mode and/or made a completely "clean" new profile with no addons or customizations added? Do you know what graphics driver you're using?

Re: Videos not working
I have this issue (loading, playing 1 single frame, then stalling and showing "If playback doesn’t begin shortly try restarting your device" after a while) since I updated Flash this week, the same issue in Pale Moon and Basilisk and Firefox. And in Vivaldi (Chromium, PPAPI) it played once without audio, then not anymore.
So I would blame Adobe Flash.
_
P.S.: Videos work again.
I watched a video with some added retro effects, but they also contained a lot of decoding errors (typical green fills and block artifacts, and frame drops), so I wondered whether this was an artifical graphical effect or real network issues.
A while later, the retro effects are still there, but no more green flashes.
So, instead of Flash, I now have to be concerned about the YouTube/Google video server...
