I don't know if this is a bug, exactly, but I had to put it somewhere. Don't believe that unnecessary space was there in previous version.

Not sure what you're talking about. the space below the address bar and search bar is normal.

It just seemed to jump out at me immediately; if it's exactly the same as the previous version, so be it.

EDIT: Just looked at Cyberfox (has gap) and Waterfox (no gap). Guess it's a matter of design, even if only accidental. Guess it can be put/left in or taken/left out. No big deal; I'll close this.
