Full drag & drop functionality crippled in Facebook.
I've noticed that whilst I can drag and drop pictures to my statuses, the same function doesn't work if I want to do the same for comments and profile covers, an issue not arising with other browsers (Lawlietfox, Cyberfox, etc). Is this a known bug with the browser?

Re: Full drag & drop functionality crippled in Facebook.
Satisfying Facebook's full array of features when not being exactly one of their "supported target browsers" is impossible. This is because they do not do feature detection, but use useragent sniffing, instead. Thankfully they've made it so our native UA gives a good complement of features at the moment.
Lack of some of these features in Pale Moon is not a browser bug; it depends entirely on Facebook's scripting.

Thanks for the clarification. Guess I'll have to get used to it.

I don't see how this is related. Dragging and dropping a file from a file manager is a completely different action than feeding clipboard data to the browser.

You're right, thank you. I overlooked it...Moonchild wrote:I don't see how this is related. Dragging and dropping a file from a file manager is a completely different action than feeding clipboard data to the browser.

Do you think you'll ever find a way round the kink to bring full drag 'n' drop functionality to Pale Moon? This is something I've instinctively gotten used to doing via my use of other Firefox-based browsers (which are going to Hell in a handbasket for other reasons), and the one major issue I have with this otherwise on-point browser.
