Here is a video on that page. That huge red field is one. However, there are in Pale Moon no arrows, no play buttons, nothing. How is one supposed to play that with Pale Moon, please?

You're right. The video doesn't play when using Pale Moon.

But the video doesn't play for me either when using Firefox or using SeaMonkey.

My age old Firefox 32 played it. I was even successful in downloading it with the FVD add-on I have on there. But NO video from ARD Mediathek (German Main TV station) is recognized and played by Pale Moon. Can the developers please do something about that in one of the next versions? The download via Page Info - > Media works, but gives only a mini picture.

ARD Mediathek videos played fine for me in Pale Moon 27.4 - and player controls displayed, provided MSE was disabled for MP4. (Win 7, x86)

The video from your original post is geo-blocked in the U.S., and the message to that effect does not display until MSE is disabled. So initially, a person in my country would just see the player on that page as a black box (at least that's what I saw). But as said, with 'MSE for MP4' off everything (not geo-blocked) played well.
