If you have clicked "no thanks" on the updater window, it will not show again for that particular version.
To clear this state:

- Find the preference "app.update.never.27.3.0"
- Right-click the pref and choose "reset"

Thank you very much! The updater started to detect availability of the newer version after I cleared the state (by following the aforesaid steps).
