Setting browser.tabs.animate to false does nothing

OS: Windows 7

Pale moon 27.3.0 64 bit

description:
I remember when I was using I believe was Pale Moon 26.5.0, setting browser.tabs.animate to false disabled the tabs animating when moving them. I just updated to 27.3.0, and now it animates when this setting is disabled.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
Go to about:config, look for setting browser.tabs.animate, set to false

Expected result:
tabs will not animate when moving them

Actual result:
tabs animate when moving them

This does not influence the sliding effect when moving tabs. It influences animations when opening or closing tabs.

You are right, I tested it in the old version and it does the same thing there. Sorry for wasting your time.
