A new web server is being installed at my university, but it uses the current file system. When I view my home page on the new system (https), the zoom level is much different than when the identical page is viewed via the old system (http) using Pale Moon.
Old system: http://lyle.smu.edu/~barr/
New system: https://s2.smu.edu/~barr/
My sys admin said the wget utility compares the two pages 100%. Since I cannot replicate this behavior when using Firefox, IE, or Opera, it must be due to something in Pale Moon. This is not a serious bug, just a weird one.
[64-bit Windows 7, Pale Moon 27.3.0 64-bit]
Same code, different zoom levels
Re: Same code, different zoom levels
There is no difference at all between the two on my system. They are scaled exactly the same.
Perhaps you have set a custom zoom level on the old system (perhaps by accident)? Try hitting Ctrl+0 (zero) to reset zoom levels.

Re: Same code, different zoom levels
That must have been it. Looks ok now. So zoom levels must follow each page visited and somehow this one got accidentally zoomed in.
Sorry to have bothered you and thank you for teaching me about Ctrl+0.
