Some menus don't shows correctly
I have this problem some weeks sporadically on my PaleMoon (now I have 27.2.1 x32 on Win10 x64, but also previous versions have this problem): some menus don't show the menu content, but only menu shadow. This happen after some hour of use of the browser, on various menus in the page content but also in search bar or palemoon menu bar. Once I can see FIle, Edit, View and History menu, but not Bookmarks, Tools and Help. After a restart of the browser all menus are correctly visualized.
Here an example of search bar menu don't show (I start to enter a search string and the menu/search history shows, but only the menu shadow is visible):

Re: Some menus don't shows correctly
It looks like a potential issue with accelerated drawing of layers.

Here it is:
Re: Some menus don't shows correctly
Hmm looks like you aren't really benefiting from HWA, since it's using the software (cairo) back-end, while still drawing with D3D11. I'm also not sure how good the 64-bit Win10 drivers are for the HD5450.
Please go into Options -> Advanced, and uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available" and restart the browser. Let us know if that helps?

Re: Some menus don't shows correctly
Moonchild, I have almost the same issue above, only it effects other native parts of the browser. Now I have been using complete themes forever, so I never noticed these issue until recently on one our school computers, and a few others. My question is, will I notice a slow down if I disable this setting?
With Pale Moon by my side, surfing the web is quite enjoyable and takes my headaches away!

Re: Some menus don't shows correctly
I have disabled use of hardware acceleration. If the problem comes out again I'll come back here.Moonchild wrote:Hmm looks like you aren't really benefiting from HWA, since it's using the software (cairo) back-end, while still drawing with D3D11.
