Login problems to ANZ bank

After clicking on the login button for the http://www.anz.com website and entering username and password. I get the following message. "The connection to banking4.anz.com was interrupted while the page was loading."

Steps taken to see what was happening:

1) Used automatic user and password with Palemoon (current version). Same message (Windows 7)
2) Did not use the automatic user and password with Palmoon. Same message (Windows 7)
3) Booted up Fedora 18 (linux), used Firefox 26, No problem encountered.
4) Booted up Fedora 22 (linux), used Palemoon (current version). Used automatic user and password. Same Message
5) Booted up Fedora 22 (linux), used Palemoon (current version). Did not use automatic user and password. Same Message
6) Used Internet Explorer (version not known, do not use it really, except in rare cases, but will find out if requested). No problem encountered.

The message "The connection to banking4.anz.com was interrupted while the page was loading." Has never occurred in previous versions of Palemoon. I currently run the current version Palemoon (26.4.1 x64) on Fedora 22 and Palemoon (26.5.0) on Windows 7.

Maybe the ANZ bank is now not recognising Palemoon?

If you require more information then please do not hesitate to ask.

Polygirl

ANZ bank uses a single cipher suite which has been disabled for security reasons by default in Pale Moon.

https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=banking4.anz.com
Cipher Suites (sorted by strength as the server has no preference; deprecated and SSL 2 suites at the end)
TLS_RSA_WITH_3DES_EDE_CBC_SHA (0xa) 112
3DES (Triple DES) is disabled because it is vulnerable. Please see the top FAQ on this forum about secure connections for info and a workaround. Your bank needs to address this ASAP.

I'm having the same problem since updating palemoon. Worked OK with version 26.4.0 and works ok with Firefox 28.
I contacted ANZ but they can't help as they never heard of Palemoon.
So do I just use older versions of browsers?

Did you read the previous post in this thread? And follow Moonchild's link?
