Sessionrestore.bak

So my computer just crashed, and as a result, I of course needed to restore the pale moon session. I accidentally clicked cancel. Not a problem, there's a backup file so I can restore the session I accidentally just lost... except in this case, the "backup" appears to be about 2 years old(or maybe older), and thus completely useless. So... what the fuck? What's the point of even having a backup file at that point?

Sorry to hear of your trouble.
After clicking cancel, you can still restore the session through typing about:sessionrestore in the address bar, as long as you haven't closed the browser in the meantime.
I've just verified that the sessionstore backup file is properly created when you close down the browser.
So it's not a direct bug in the browser as far as I can see...
Did you change any settings related to sessions or are you using session management add-ons that may have prevented this proper backup?
