Windows 10
25.8.1 x64 Desktop, x64 Portable, and x32 Portable
Change the speed on the Youtube HTML5 player, click a button (pause, resize window, etc.) and the video changes to normal speed while the other speed is still selected.
Happens in safe mode, and fresh installs of both x32 and x64 portable. No issues in other browsers. This started to happen sometime in December I think so I'm guessing that Google updated the player and something broke.

Another example of Google catering YT to their browser, I gather.5char wrote:This started to happen sometime in December I think so I'm guessing that Google updated the player and something broke.

Could you do me a favour?half-moon wrote:Youtube works perfectly fine for me. I use viewtube and the HTML5 option and it works flawlessly.
Change the video speed, pause, then unpause the video. Does the HTML5 player maintain the speed you selected or does it go back to 1x speed? I'm having an issue with this.
