VLC and YouTube problem

Moderator note: split off from another topic for being off-topic for that thread.

Sorry to bother you mates, but I have a weird YouTube problem and I do not know whether that is a bug and i come here to an answer because i think this should be a related thread. When I tried playing a YouTube video in my VLC Media player on Windows 7, " VLC is unable to open the MRL" popped up on my screen . The YouTube video was uploaded by myself from my PS4 recordings days ago. In this article, as you can see "http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/vlc-unable-mrl.html", it mentions that I must change the video codec and formats for a better compatibility and only in this way can the YouTube video be played again. However, i do not literally want to use a third-party software or change any video parameters or launch a video format conversion since I know to convert a video's format always causes some video output quality loss or frame rate drop. My video is 720p and 30fps(I did not test it but I think it is smooth) which I think is quite perfect. So, I want to ask you guys is video conversion the only way to solve the MRL not opening problem? Are there any other better ways to handle this problem???

What container did you save the file as? Rather what is the extension of the file, mp4, mkv, avi? You can use MediaInfo to find out all the incoding options used to produce the video. The codec used for video and audio. The profile used. Bitrate, FPS, etc. https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo Media files can be recoded with an increase in video quality using the right encoder program. MediaCoder is the best but is not for a novice since there are no help files of any kind to teach you how to use the program. http://www.mediacoderhq.com/dlfull.htm . Both are free.

Use media info and let me know what the extension of the file is, what the profile is what the Bitrate of video is and what codec was used to create the video. optimal encoding for quality will us the H264 codec with LC-AAC audio using a profile High@4,1, frame rate is immaterial Bitrate matters.

PS when using MediaInfo On the toolbar under "view" select "text". You can Drag Drop or open file in mediaInfo.
