I bought a Seek thermal imager last year really cheap brand new on eBay for $130 and it is a really neat gadget. This is showing heat, not color. It just interprets the heat into color. As you can see, the moon is reflecting some heat picked up by the thermal camera. I thought I recorded the second video, but I must have forgot to hit record. The second video had the more Predator-looking view instead of black and white and I had the temperature readings. With the temperature readings it showed the moon at around 37F-2C. That's just reflected sun light I assume.

Infrared moon

John, you should post this video on support forum. 'Help! My YouTube Video is Blurry!'John connor wrote:Seek thermal imager
In Norway uses those camera/gadgets to check if the insulation in various parts of the house working, measure the temperature of food or secure the property from intruders.
Re: Infrared moon
Interesting about Norway. That does make sense since it's so cold up there. I used to live in North Dakota in the 1980's so I can imagine now a days this technology would come in useful up there where temperatures can plummet to around -34°C. That's with the wind chill of course.
Re: Infrared moon
-34°C ...Just a perfect day for relaxing
