Mozilla memory issues are a lot better now

Unread post by stravinsky » 2012-08-14, 13:03

I was reading the announcement by Moonchild, where he said that the initial memory problems of FF4+ have been almost solved.

Just wanted to add that that this is very correct. From reading around in bugzilla and the dev blogs, the memory issues have been basically solved. Project Memshrink is definitely slowing down now. Lesser bugs are coming, and lesser energy/time is being spent on these memory bugs.

The main focus areas are : Snappy and Kilminjaro.
