You extract the .zip one or the .exe installer? I got confused.
Well, I extracted both and neither got an error. For the installer, I get the Core and setup.exe files.

The SHA1 hash matches my local file, so I don't see an issue. Why would you want to extract the installer with 7zip anyway? Just run it.

I have run PM 12.3r2 for a couple of days and had no problems. Is it smoother? Maybe, it's hard to tell as 12.3 was pretty good. Thanks MC. :)

This new build seems a bit better and smoother.

I have noticed that I am now having a slight lag on PM shutdown (either from the top right close button or from the PM drop down). It is slightly less than one second so hardly noticeable but with Fx Beta close is instant. This happens with only one tab open so the quit screen doesn't pop up and occurs both in normal and safe (no add-ons) mode.

Um, yes, not something that can be helped. It performs some tasks upon shutdown that take time to complete (cleaning up and deallocating memory, flushing cache items, cleanly shutting down threads and subprocesses, etc.). There is no harm in a <1 second delay when you are closing the program, IMNSHO.

OK, I can cope with it (just).

I just thought it was worth mentioning, in case.

 This is the first thread I have read and already had a good laugh.

The only thing I had ever seen was IMHO.
You definitely earned it. ;)

Good explanation - Thanks.

You need to send Moonchild a private message. He will deal with it.
