Moonchild email client

Since I am looking to ditch anything Mozilla related - as well as Google (though hard when you have an Android phone - could be worse, could be using an iphone), I am hoping for an e-mail client would be in the in works for the near future. I haven't found any suitable replacements for Thunderbird; and it would be nice to be completely free of Mozilla.

It's not officially supported anymore but he keeps it updated for himself and will post his updates when they are available.
I finally ditched Thunderbird as I was not able to use Fossamail when I was back on Windows XP.
But now that I'm on W7 I was able to install it and I am pretty happy with it.
