Bit the bullet and put in a request for a registered trademark anyway.

I'm curious what you decided on trademarking exactly and how that went.

"Pale Moon" and associated images with respect to software? Or more narrowly a web browser? Or did the scope not even come into play?

How about "Your Browser, Your Way"? Was it possible to include that as well, or would it be separate and double the cost?

What country or entity did you register with?

I'm curious in an academic way about the trademark registration process and never had an opportunity to learn by proxy this way.

I sent in a trademark registration request for the product name "Pale Moon". Scope was "downloadable software", "software for internet communication" and "software to download material". I didn't see "web browser" specifically as a topic.
And it's just the name. Any associated images would be a separate request. Any word mark would be a separate request, any slogan would be a separate request. Any separate request would multiply the overall cost. Yes, it's absolutely predatory.

What country or entity did you register with?

PRV (patent and registration office) in Sweden. It was actually somewhat affordable even if the regional scope is very limited, but being in ANY registry would make a difference.
