Pale Moon forum

Hi guys

I am trying to follow all steps, including disabling NoScript, but can not install. I used Save As option and attempted to use Gear option and I always get this pop up in the upper Pale Moon window



What am I missing?

I just tried to install uMatrix and got the same pop up about not supported WebExtensions

(You were trying to install the webextension version - which will not work. You need "legacy".)

You want, uBlock0.firefox-legacy.xpi (or maybe you can just click on it & it will install?).

Though if you already have ABL, why are you (also?) wanting uBlock Origin?
(IOW, you don't. Pick one or the other.)

Will try in a moment, do I have to look for legacy uMatrix versions too?

I am trying to see if I can substitute NoScript (NS), ABL is just a pop up blocker. NS saved my butt a lot, can not loose its functionality.

Ublock Origin is installed, will play with it. How about uMatrix, there is no legacy versions, can you help or at list direct me to the Forum thread about it, please.

People who actively use uMatrix can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the last Pale Moon compatible version is 1.1.4. That is available here ...

The last release of uMatrix that is compatible with Pale Moon is indeed version 1.1.4.

In addition, since you're using uBlock Origin, I recommend also installing the uBlock Origin Updater extension, to keep uBlock up-to-date.
