There are phpbb user style/scripts out there that can change the appearance of the board. Find one that suits your liking and use it instead.

Those phpbb user styles could be problematic in the future because of plans for the forum's design that we are tinkering with.

I don't like this new design in the UI, it really puts a strain on my eyes:

Topic titles have not changed -- and in fact, contrast has increased in the header to what it was before.
You have to let me know exactly what seems to be your problem?

Yeah the outline of the columns is darker blue, witch to seems to fit the words/fonts of the forum. Something (words) has to be dark and something has to be light (columns outline) for a distinction or vice versa.

EDIT: I just cleared my cookies and it went back to it's normal form (the lighter scheme), but then it changed back (the darker scheme) once I logged in, it's become a back and forth thing now. What the hell is going on here!???

Clear your browser cache. You're probably seeing cached CSS.

EDIT: I made sure to improve contrast of the topic titles so they are more distinct from the frames, and made the frames a shade lighter. This should suffice for anyone regardless of monitor setting or eyesight.
