Maybe.
You can call it a "detailed interest". I knew nothing about cryptocurrency, now I know a lot about it. I understand how it works, have seen the bad and good sides of it, the risks and benefits of it. Apart from more "quick cash" currencies popping up all over, that's about it. Maybe I'll invest in a low-power standalone module for bitcoin, since it seems to be gaining solid ground on fiat currencies -- otherwise? Not much of a hobby :) Not like I plan on running up my electric bill by building what some people do, 4 high-end graphics cards sucking over 1 kW of power etc. :P

Bitcoins are now to hard to mining. Even with highend miner
Only the alternative coins like litecoin, dogecoin are ok but hard too.

For BitCoin you need an ASIC; anything else is just going to cost you money. Litecoin and Dogecoin are better in that respect because building an efficient standalone miner for it is difficult, so it's more likely to remain feasible to mine with a graphics card. The only problem there is raw power use of GPUs.
Personally I don't particularly like the "brackets" involved in most cryptocurrencies, strongly favoring early adopters and then making it twice as difficult at set points in time. it's just unfair.

Jeeze been so long, I was one of the first experiment testers to run litecoin on a GPU using namecoin mining app that turned to work out greatly for litecoin, then cgminer came out, then litecoin was getting a ton of attention. Previously, litecoin was only able to be mined by CPU's. It's cool a lot off people are catching onto crypto currency.

I been eying some cards, as for a former miner and still a gamer, I hate how the prices of cards are atm because of miners. :? "AMD".

Not really. People hardly donate with BTC. most of the traffic you see on that address is regular "savings in the blockchain"
