How does new download page get the actual .tar.xz download name?

Post by sblanco » 2023-03-16, 16:01

Hope it's not very imprudent to ask...

I just read that downloads page changed recently.
Now for, say, downloading Linux GTK3 version, the URL is 'https://www.palemoon.org/download.php?m ... =linuxgtk3'; and similar for all other versions. And when clicking the URL one gets the "transformed" *real* filename *.tar.xz.

How does first URL transforms into latest corresponding *.tar.xz?

Thanks.

It happens in the server-side php script.
