There has been a considerable uptick in login credentials being used to post spam and bad links that were quite obviously stolen or leaked from elsewhere and not unique (or unique enough) to this forum.
In response to this, I'll enforce a password change regime (you will need to choose a new password on occasion) in addition to the regular purging of old and inactive accounts we have here.
When you make a password change when asked for it in the coming days, please make sure it is sufficiently unique and complex/long to be unguessable from other login data that may have been leaked or stolen on other sites you have or had accounts at.
Important: password change enforcement
