Misspellings on the Pale Moon for Linux Downloads page

Unread post by The Squash » 2020-12-18, 23:33

First of all, I'm not trying to be nitpicky and I'm not trying to be disrespectful; however, misspellings have a tendency to make the writer look like they're not serious, especially when two or more appear near each other. For that reason, with all due respect, I'd like to warn you about two misspellings on the bottom notice on the Pale Moon for Linux Downloads page:
  • Linux 32 bit binaries have been discontined
    That should read "discontinued".
  • at their discression
    The word is spelled "discretion".
Again, please take that as a notification, not as an offensive remark. Thank you.

Or I been working from Wednesday through Friday morning on less than 10 hours total sleep in service to pukes such as yourself.

Why don't YOU correct the spelling? Contribute something beyond your vaporware promises, fake experience, and pathetic bitching for once.

Two questions.

How do I correct spelling mistakes?
How are the errors then relayed to the perpetrator?

Fork, update, pull request. You can even use the on-line editor in gitea.

You got the wrong message, then.

I gave him 24 hours.. Isn't that reasonable? Slept most of that time too.

Regardless, maybe you should get the facts and history before you go and condemn someone's response.

I would have done it myself if I had found Moonchild's instructions before you fixed it. I now know what to do in the future.

Regardless, it's fixed now, thank you for what you did.

EDIT:
I didn't know you hadn't gotten much sleep, sorry to hear that.
