Forum rank? Topic is solved

Forum rank?
I did a search and could not find a definition of the forum ranks. I noticed I recently got promoted to Moongazer. Being retired military, I am interested in the rank structure. Could some one explain it or post a link to where the explanation is?
Re: Forum rank?
For regular forum users it is just the number of posts. Though several people have custom forum ranks. The Moonchild Productions ranking system isn't really as structured as I would prefer it to be but then again it doesn't need to be. Likely good cause people can get obsessive about rank and status. tl;dr Moonchild is fearless leader, Travis leads linux and multimedia development, Ryan leads the Add-ons Team, and me?
I'm the asshole with the target painted on his back who is vaguely not answerable to anyone except when I am and I do what ever is required in and out of the Pale Moon project. Largely involving secondary services, the larger Unified XUL Platform and cross-community stuff with those who can tolerate me.
Others do and contribute as they see fit.

Re: Forum rank?
The number of posts one makes, that's all. (It has nothing to do with the quality of the posts, either.)
Re: Forum rank?
I figured it was the number of post. What are the numbers for the ranks?

Re: Forum rank?
Here's a link with some info. It doesn't however tell the numbers for the ranks. Moonchild or Tobin or someone else will have to answer that. If you really want to know, you can probably figure it out pretty close by examining the forum member's ranks and post counts.

Re: Forum rank?
Not like it matters that much. For some who respond continuously, it just becomes meaningless. Just a forum-ism really.
Also, I don't have administrative access to the forum, I can tell you nothing about its configuration. My forum power beyond suggesting things to moderators ends at the Off-Topic Board. Shit, I can't even ban people, lol.

Re: Forum rank?
Regularly assigned ranks (stars) are based purely on number of posts.
Aside from that there are special ranks manually assigned
Of course this may change over time, but that's the situation as of today. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
